This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

John 2:1-11 describes the first recorded miracle of Jesus.  Jesus was called to a marriage feast along with His disciples. During this feast they ran out of wine. Mary, the mother of Jesus, went to Jesus for help, even though she and Jesus knew that it was not quite His time for doing miracles. Nevertheless you can learn how to get your miracle from this story.  Mary told the disciples, "...Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it." (John 2:5)

This passage of scripture describes a process for obtaining a miracle in your life.

You can get your miracle from Jesus if you do what Jesus says, even though:

  1. You are not in the right place (verse 2)

  2. You have a lot of problems (v3)
  
  3. You are discouraged (v4)

  4. You have not walked with Him very long (v5)

  5. You have not seen Him work miracles in your life
 
  6. You don't understand the entire process.

Obtaining a miracle in your life is more up to you and your attitude than it is up to God or Jesus.  Our heavenly Father loves you so much that He wants you to prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers.    He will give you the miracle you desire when you do your part -- that is, just do what He tells you to do.
