Fast Fridays!!!
Join us as we fast and pray every Friday for our country and nation. However you choose to fast and pray is between you and the Lord. You can fast one meal, two meals, three meals or just fast something like coffee or dessert; whatever you do is between you and the Lord. In addition, take some extra time that day to pray for President Obama and other elected officials. If you don't know what to pray for visit "The Presidential Prayer Team" website where they post national issues for christian to pray about.

This website also contains additional information for pastors and lay people to help them in their prayer ministry. Pray for President Obama as he leads and directs this country. The bible says that "The heart of the king is in God's hand."

I have fasted at least a dozen times in my life. Each time, I do a fast, I often want to look up material on how to do a proper fast. I have had some good and not so good experience with fasting. But overall, fasting for me has been a sucess.

God is Good
He wants you well! He wants you well in your spirit, your soul and in your body. The way you find out God’s will for your life is to look at the works of Jesus. Jesus said in John 14:9,
“…have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?"

As you lift up the name of Jesus, the name of Jesus will lift you up. Remember that God only works through His Word. If His Word says that you must use the name of Jesus, then that is what will work. You can use that name, that wonderful name, in faith and full confidence that your prayers shall come to pass. |
